Where do I even begin. I started out wanting to make a fun and cute documentary about two adorable old folks with the surname Christmas.... But I am glad this documentary managed to fulfil the most important learning objective from this module: Embrace Contradictions. Through this, I find out what it means to lose everything, but never lose faith in love or in life; what it means to love; what it means to be human. Shit happens, but you shouldn't let that ruin your entire life. I really have no words to describe how blessed and honored I feel to be able to meet and document Ed and Carolyn, and to have grown closer to them through this. They're really like my parents, and their genuine love, care and support is my biggest takeaway from them, and it's something that I will always remember. I will always continue to keep giving, and to keep showing my love and helping other people, because "you can never give too much love". This documentary is far from perfect in terms of technical stuff, it was a solo one-man thing, and as with all my documentaries, everything is done by me. Lights, camera, sound.... And it really is difficult to do everything alone. But I tried my best.

"I don't think that animals are here to entertain us, I'm more of like, I want to help take care of them, I want to observe them, I want to give them the love and attention that they need." A girl with a heart of gold, and a heart for all animals, big and small. Thank you Sierra for approaching me and allowing me to come up with such a lovely piece that I'm proud to have created. Thank you for letting me into your world, and allowing me to understand and love animals more, in a different light. :) Will miss you and Mocha soo much when I leave. :"(

My very first documentary made for my documentary module on exchange. I remember lamenting about being in a foreign country with no friends, and I missed having the convenience of having my immediate friends and family to help out with my projects. But I'm glad I made it out alive. And looking back on this attempt, I feel incredibly blessed to have survived the semester with so little resources. Kinda makes me feel like I can do anything if I have the heart and will. :)

Final project for TV and Cinema Aesthetics module in Elon, done with my Elon Dope Asians Kai Xing and Jalyn. :) Had fun experimenting and filming this entire narrative, especially coming from a scaredy-cat like me LOL. Glad we pulled this off, and it's definitely not very good (lazy do recut LOL) and the best thing is, our professor liked it :) Highlight was when he told us he showed our clip to the other class and they were fans LOL. Will never forget.
