As part of my role, I had the exciting opportunity to create a range of captivating marketing materials for the council. Two major projects that stood out were the annual report and the marketing brochures for our overseas mission trips.

 

Other personal projects to note are also my Instagram business@knot.aknottypea, as well as The Beat Effect, a passion project with my band to create unique entertainment spaces where music takes centre stage.

annual report

The yearly annual report served as a comprehensive recap of all the remarkable council happenings throughout the year, designed specifically for our valued members. Taking the lead on this project, I not only conceptualized the overall design but also collaborated with various departments to gather compelling images and engaging write-ups about our diverse range of activities. Additionally, I poured my creative energy into crafting most of the copy throughout the report, ensuring it was informative and engaging.

I was also entrusted with the task of developing marketing brochures for our overseas mission trips. These brochures served as invaluable resources for our member delegates, providing them with crucial information about the trips while also serving as an introduction to the host country. It was a privilege to create these materials, and I approached each project with a personal touch to ensure they resonated with our audience.

Amidst the pandemic, I discovered a wonderful way to make the most of my time in lockdown: delving into the captivating world of Macramé. I was always interested in fashion and crafting, so by exploring the art of knotting, I unearthed a treasure trove of possibilities, especially when it came to crafting beautiful jewelry. As I diligently searched for a full-time job, I found myself selling these unique creations on Instagram, not only to supplement my income but also to showcase my pieces with a personal touch. By creating custom marketing materials, I was able to convey the message I wanted, ultimately adding an extra layer of charm to my creations.

The set of marketing materials for my first iteration of a passion project with my band back in May 2022. I created a series of posts with information regarding the event and the various acts across two days, as well as handled the comments and DMs regarding admission to the event.
