urban living showcase
A series of digital and social media collaterals were designed to support the physical exhibition at the FIND Design Asia held at Marina Bay Sands in September 2022.

intro
With the COVID-19 pandemic becoming endemic, physical furniture fairs and tradeshows were coming back to life. Our council was to have a 100sqm booth called the Urban Living Showcase, showcasing participants and their products borne from our Design Innovation Programme (DIP) initiative. Apart from working directly with a videography team for the DIP video, as well as with a PR agency for the exhibition launch, everything else were my responsibility.
goals
Create a microsite with a series of webpages to showcase the DIP participants, provide information about the DIP initiative, as well as the origins of the physical booth design

Plan and execute a launch event with a minister in attendance, as well as a sharing & networking session within the exhibition space for the DIP participants to companies interested in participating in the second iteration of DIP
Conceptualise a video to highlight and showcase the success stories from the DIP, which would also be used as a launch mechanism for the exhibition launch.

As the microsite was intended to be used quite prominently throughout the exhibition space via QR codes placed around the booth, I started by envisioning what pages we needed to create and the preliminary outline for the main landing page. Once I had a working idea of the content needed, I started sketching how the page should be displayed.

Being the inaugural batch of DIP participants, we decided to profile some of the success stories to encourage interested companies to sign up for the second round of DIP. The video served as good content for the launch mechanism as well when we had the exhibition launch physically.
I scripted the initial video treatment and worked directly with a video team (who were friends and batchmates from university) to fine tune the script and film the profiles to create a compelling video.
